Week 2 of Preschool Begins! Week one was fabulous! I can’t wait to see what this week will bring. I am linking up with the amazing Dee Dee from Mrs. Wills Kindergarten for a Peek at my Week.
For week 2, I will be introducing some new things and diving deeper into others. In my art center, I will be introducing painting at the art easel. BIG TIME FUN! Love the book I Ani’t Gonna Paint No More and will be reading it at circle to talk about where we paint. Not the wall…hopefully. I use a visual routine to help students know what to do when they want to paint. Visuals are so helpful for my preschool friends. Look between the two easels and you will see it. The steps are get a smock, get paper, write your name, paint, and put on the drying rack.
You may be wondering what the yellow border is for. Some of my preschoolers are too short to clip the paper at the top so they clip their paper to the yellow boarder. This way they can do it independently! I spray painted the trays black this summer and used a plastic table cloth to cover the boards too. They look so much better than before.
So on with the show.. here are my lesson plans. If you want a closer look at my lesson plans, click on the picture. If you want to purchase one of my products I am using this week, click on the product cover and it will take you to my TPT Store.
