Alphabet Activities Using Themed Letter Cards Set 1
Dinosaur Letters! Your students will love learning letters with these adorable dinosaur letter cards. Students will practice letter identification, and formation with the included Say It, Make It mats. The students will pick a letter card and say it. Then, they will form the letter in the sand with plastic bones.
Fruit Letters! Use these fruit-themed cards during a healthy foods unit or body health unit. I completed the theme with fruit mini erasers!
Pet Letters!Make a sensory bin of dog bones and pet letter cards. Students will grab a card and lay it on their read, build, write mat. They will read the letter, build it with small manipulatives or play dough, and then write the letter. Slide the mats into a wipe and write pocket for added durability and to make the mats useable with dry erase markers.
Train Letters!Each theme comes with worksheets to match, and one of the options is a fun and engaging stamping worksheet. Students will pick a letter card and stamp the matching letter on the sheet.

Truck Letters! Little learners will love this truck-themed letter card set! I put the letter cards in a pocket chart, and students can practice tracing them on the matching worksheet. Students could also practice putting the cards in alphabetical order.
Sunflower Letters!Get preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten students up and moving with an activity called Write the Room. Beforehand, place the letter cards around the room. Students will walk around the room with a clipboard, golf pencils, and a worksheet. When they find a letter, they will write it on the worksheet and move on.
Hot Cocoa Letters!This would be such a fun theme in the winter, and your students will love writing in the cocoa sensory box! To make the sensory bin use a hot cocoa packet, sprinkles, and mini marshmallows. The little learners can use pom poms to write the letter that they pick. Then trace on the worksheet.
