Being organized makes my teacher heart happy and it makes teaching easier when I know where everything is that I need! In my classroom, I use MANY crates and large tubs for storage. Labels on large tubs or crates is a great way to add environmental print to the classroom and to help students be more independent. They can find the label and put away the items they used. These are perfect to use at open house when families are bringing in all the supplies before school starts.Place the large labels on tables, crates, or tub to show families where to put each supplies. These large, full page labels come in three designs: Rainbow Large Classroom Labels, Real Photograph Large Classroom Labels or the Simple Design Large Labels with clip art images.
Now let me show you how to attach these super cute labels to crates making it simple to change the label as needed throughout the school year. 
Creating and Attaching Crate Labels
Step 1: Print the labels you need for your own organizational needs. I printed my labels on card stock to make them more durable. I also put each one in a page protector. This way I can change out the labels easily if I need to.
Step 2: Pick the ribbon you want. I used red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink. My class theme is bold colors. Cut 2 pieces for each label about 8 inches long. Be sure to use thin ribbon. It makes the next step MUCH easier. I tried using a thicker ribbon first, and it did not work.
Step 3: Put the ribbon through the holes of the crate and the holes of the page protector. Then tie in a knot.
If your crate has no holes, make holes with a drill. Put the page protector on the crate and mark where the holes are. Carefully drill on the marks (be safe, wear goggles and watch your fingers).
